Once again Apple has made things much simpler. The redesigned iMacs follows the basic all-in-one form factor of the previous generation iMacs with the Aluminum + Glass formula.
The basic design changes includes:
- Edge-to-Edge glass covering the display. That is seamless design trait followed by Apple.
- Finely tapered aluminum pedestal which virtually dissolves into the desk.
- An all Aluminum enclosure
- Effective Led Back Lighting
- Cooler and quiet components in the 27 inch models. with spacing out CPU and GPU in an extrvagant 25.6" x 20.4" landscape
With big and beutiful display, the 27inch (16:9 aspect ratio) model is really a breakthrough. with lots of real estate for internal components, leaving the room for air and further expandability. And along with the redesign, Apple introduced new 'Magic Mouse' (wireless), which comes with imac as standard accessory along with apple wireless keyboard. Thus making it a "one cord to play n work" device!
