Another first from Apple. Magic Mouse. Apple finally decided to put their state of the art technology into their new mouse. With its new touch sensitive upper shell, the low profile mouse looks like a rounded rectangle from top. The mouse is designed like an aero-dynamic object with its top shell declining towards ground surface and the bottom part inclining the top portion on its sides. With no cords attached, the mouse looks aesthetically appealing and elegant. The bottom of the Magic Mouse consists of: two strips of padding, a laser tracking round shaped window, an on/off switch similar to that of iPods and Apple logo and information label. While the top part contains an elegantly placed Apple logo.
The top Multi-Touch Shell senses gestures and respond to actions such as click, double click, scroll and swipe. Apple uses similar touch technology which is used in their products: iPod, glass trackpad etc.
The low profile design of the mouse is an ergonomically good design.
With reduced profile, it makes more comfortable and natural feel which reduces strain for hand.
